Senior System Engineer (m/f)

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior System Engineer with expertise in the Microsoft 365 platform. The ideal candidate will take a lead role in maintaining, administering, and providing advanced support for our users and customers within the M365 ecosystem, while actively contributing to the optimization and enhancement of our internal IT systems and processes. What you’ll be doing: - Administering and maintaining IT systems in both cloud and on-premises environments - Monitoring, automating, and improving IT infrastructure - Designing and implementing system architectures for scalability and efficiency - Managing user accounts, permissions, and groups within Azure AD and Microsoft 365 - Providing technical support and troubleshooting for complex IT issues - Ensuring reliable backup and disaster recovery solutions - Leading IT projects to modernize internal systems and infrastructure What we are looking for in Senior System Engineer is: - 5+ experience with Windows environments (Windows OS, Windows Server) - Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Exchange and SharePoint - Proficiency with networking concepts (WIFI, LAN, VPN) and troubleshooting - Basic scripting skills for automation (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) - Excellent understanding of IT security principles (authentication, backups, access control) - Good communication skills and problem-solving abilities - Good written and verbal English It would be cool if you also have, but it’s not necessary: - Educational background in Information Technology or related fields. - Experience with Linux or MacOS environments. - Familiarity with virtualization tools (Docker, Kubernetes). - Knowledge of SaaS products and MDM solutions. - Experience managing IT contracts and licenses. - Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (Azure or Aws) A little bit about us: Pontis Technology is an IT service company based in Zagreb, Croatia founded in 2022.
